Description
Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of technical products for the public utilities sector, is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join its evening production team.

Position Details
- Status: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the CNC Supervisor, the machinist will be responsible for machining parts using computer numerical control equipment:
- Machine parts according to technical drawings and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
- Determine work methods, setups, and operation sequences
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines
- Make necessary adjustments and ensure proper machine operation
- Perform basic maintenance on machines and measuring instruments
- Design tools or production jigs when required
- Complete production and inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with quality, production, and safety standards
- Follow internal policies and procedures
- Perform any other related duties
Candidate Profile
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- CNC training (ASP completed or in progress)

Requirements
- Diploma: DEP completed
- Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role
- Languages:
- Spoken French: advanced
- Written French: intermediate
Conditions
- Salary: $25.00 – $32.87/hour
