Description

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of technical products for the public utilities sector, is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join its evening production team.

Position Details

• Status: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the CNC Supervisor, the machinist will be responsible for machining parts using computer numerical control equipment:

• Machine parts according to technical drawings and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
• Determine work methods, setups, and operation sequences
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines
• Make necessary adjustments and ensure proper machine operation
• Perform basic maintenance on machines and measuring instruments
• Design tools or production jigs when required
• Complete production and inspection reports
• Ensure compliance with quality, production, and safety standards
• Follow internal policies and procedures
• Perform any other related duties

Candidate Profile

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• CNC training (ASP completed or in progress)

Requirements

• Diploma: DEP completed
• Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role
• Languages:
  • Spoken French: advanced
  • Written French: intermediate

Conditions

• Salary: $25.00 – $32.87/hour
